Golden Interview Audio
PHILADELPHIA - The Temple football program, under the direction of second-year head coach Al Golden, has persevered through unseasonably cold weather to surpass the midpoint of its spring practice season. With eight practices completed and seven more sessions to go, Golden has a thorough agenda for the next 11 days. As the Owls prepare to "Attack the MAC" in their inaugural Mid-American Conference season, Owlsports.com sat down with Golden to solicit his thoughts on the teams' progress.
After hosting a student barbeque at practice on Wednesday, April 18, Temple concludes its spring season with the annual Cherry & White intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday, April 21, at the Ambler (Pa.) Sports Complex. Kick-off for the football exhibition is slated for 2:30 p.m.
The Owls' 109th season of collegiate football officially gets underway on Friday, August 31, when Temple hosts Navy in a 7:00 p.m. kick-off at Lincoln Financial Field. To order full or partial season tickets for the 2007 campaign, which features six home contests, visit www.owlstix.com.
