PHILADELPHIA - Tax deadline day didn't stop the Temple football team from taking the field for its 13th spring practice session at Edberg-Olson Hall on a sunny Tuesday afternoon.

Following each day of spring practice, the coaching staff awards a "Player of the Day" for the offense, defense, and special teams. Today's honorees were WR Marquise Liverpool (offense), DT Terrance Knighton (defense), and WR Bruce Francis (special teams).

Temple's final spring practice is Thursday, April 17. On that day, the team will host its Third Annual Student Barbeque from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Edberg-Olson Hall. All Temple students are invited and will be admitted FREE with a school identification card. In addition to lots of food and fun while watching the Owls' practice session, the first 1000 students will receive a Temple-UConn game-day t-shirt.

Temple closes out its spring schedule with the Cherry & White Game on Saturday, April 19. Kickoff is set for 1:15 p.m. at the Ambler (Pa.) Sports Complex. Admission is FREE.
