MIDDLETOWN, DE -- The Temple men's golf team is in second place with a 297 score after the opening round of the Scotty Duncan Memorial at Frog Hollow Golf Club. The 10-team tournament concludes Monday, May 2, on the par 71, 6,589-yard course.

Senior team captain Billy Mullen and sophomore James Boose are tied for fifth place in the 50-player field after carding one over 72's on Sunday. Senior Matt Roberts is in seventh place after a 74 effort. Sophomore Logan Terry (24th, 79) and senior Patrick O'Neill (t-25th, 80) comprised the rest of the Cherry & White scorecard.

Liberty is in first place after compiling a 290 score on Sunday while host Delaware and Drexel are tied for the show position at 301.
