Moosic, PA (May 20) -- At the completion of the second round of play of the NCAA Men's East Regional Golf Tournament, the Tournament Committee found it necessary to cut six teams from the tournament field. The six teams include James Madison, Virginia Commonwealth, Seton Hall, Richmond, Dartmouth and Yale. The decision was made in order to give the teams in contention the best possible chance to complete today's round due to the expected weather conditions. Six players from the teams cut were selected to continue playing based on their individual scores. The players are Ben Keefer and Shane Foster of James Madison, Reg Millage of Virginia Commonwealth, Lee Birchall of Dartmouth, Jedd McLuen of the College of Charleston, and Keith Unikel of Maryland. The individual cut line was set at a two round eight-over-par score of 150. Third round play began at 8:12 a.m.
