AMBLER, PA - The Men's soccer team was handed its third loss of the season in a 1-0 battle with Buffalo. The Owls were unable to capitalize on their chances, having put four shots on goal. The Bulls Dan Gwyther headed home the eventual game winning goal in the 9th minute of the game.
Minutes after the Bulls netted their lone goal, Owls freshman Tyler Witmer nearly tied the game with a shot off the post on a feed from J.T. Noone.
The Cherry and White had their chances to score, including a chip shot by Brian Henderson that barely cleared the crossbar. Owls keeper Bret Mollon made on save on four shots.
The Owls (3-3-0) travel to Rider next Friday, the 19th, with game time set for 4:00 p.m.
