A pair of Temple freshmen, Filip Rams and Dmitry Vizhunov, have been named to the All-Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis First Team, in voting conducted by the league's head coaches. They are the first TU freshmen to earn all-conference honors since Pero Pivcevic in 1997. Senior Nathan Spunda was named to the academic all-conference team.

The Temple men's tennis team bounced back from a close quarterfinal loss to Saint Louis to defeat Duquesne, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon at Club 4 Life. Sixth-seeded Temple dropped a 4-3 match to #3 Saint Louis in an Atlantic 10 quarterfinal on Friday evening at Club 4 Life. The hard-fought match had three singles matches go to a third set and the loss snaps a seven-game winning streak for the Owls.
