Villanova, Pa. -- Temple men's track team competed in the Villanova

Invitational April 15-16 at Villanova Stadium.

Temple men finished first in three events. Tracey Champion placed first in the

110 Meter High Hurdles (Heat 1) with a time of 15.36. In the 400 Meter Run

(Heat 3), Andre Turner finished first with a time of 49.22. Jermaine Halsey

placed first in the 800 Meter Run (Heat 4) with a time of 2:02.25. Sean Wilson

and Otis Cheek also placed in the 400 Meter Run (Heat 3). Wilson finished

third with a time of 51.42 and Cheek finished fourth with a time of 52.63.

Daniel Stevens finished fourth with a time of 1:54.8 in the 800 Meter Run

(Heat 2). Champion placed fourth in the long jump with a time of 4.98. In the

200 Meter Run (Heat 2), Cheek finished third (23.24), William Sprinfield fifth

(23.65) and Champion sixth (23.84).

Temple finished fourth in the 4*100 Meter Relay with a time of 42.81. In the

4*400 Meter Relay (Heat 1), Temple A also finished fourth with a time of

3:21.40.
