Geasey Field, home to Temple's field hockey and lacrosse teams, is undergoing a major renovation this summer and head coaches Amanda Janney and Bonnie Rosen are checking in to tell fans all about it. The AstroTurf on Geasey is one of the largest permanent AstroTurf surfaces in the world, covering over 156,000 square feet.
Several members of the Temple women's lacrosse team participated in the 2009 Women's Division National Tournament, held May 23-24 in Bel Air, Maryland. Kelsey Zenuk began the game with a hat trick and finished with a game-high four goals and one assist to lead the Temple women's lacrosse team (4-12) to a 15-5 win over Lafayette (2-15) in the 2009 season finale on Wednesday afternoon.
