Philadelphia, PA - The Temple women's tennis team fell to the George Washington Colonials 5-2 after a hard fought battle on Saturday, April 7th.

Senior Tamara Truta and freshman Lara Ercegovic notched the only wins for the Owls when they defeated Tracy Wei (6-2, 7-5) and Nazli Gencsoy (6-2, 6-0) respectively. The duo also pulled out a 9-7 doubles win.

The Owls have suffered several injuries over the past six weeks, losing freshman Danira Penic and senior Katarina Kramaric.

The women will compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships on April 20-22.
