Philadelphia - After leading Temple University to the Atlantic 10 Championship, women's tennis player Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova was named to the Inquirer's Academic All-Area Team voted on by the Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association. The sophomore kinesiology major from the Ukraine played an integral part in Temple's Atlantic 10 Championship by going 4-0 during the conference tournament. Rukavyshnykova finished the season 14-6 and won her last six singles matches. She teamed up with Christine Clermont to go 12-2 and win their last four doubles matches.
