LANDOVER, MD - Freshman Amanda Cole set a new season-best in the weight throw as the Temple women's indoor track team competed for the second time in as many days at the unscored Terrapin Invitational on Saturday. Cole placed 16th in the event with a distance of 38-9 3/4 and was also 25th in the shot put (34-2 1/4). Sophomore Noelle McKenzie finished 16th in the 800m with a time of 2:24.29, while junior Shavaun Christian was ninth in high jump (5-2 1/4). Freshman Christina Nguyen placed 11th in the pole vault by clearing 9-4 1/4. Temple will also take part in multiple meets next weekend at the Bucknell Bison Open and Boston University Terrier Classic.
