PHILADELPHIA -- Senior Edith Lewis, a triple and long jumper on the Temple University Women's Track and Field team broke Temple's record in the triple jump with a score of 40'05 1/2 at last weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships. The old record, 40'2, was held by Carla Daniels and was established in 1986.

Lewis took first place in the Triple jump at the Atlantic 10 Championships earning her the Most Outstanding Performer Award.
