The men's and women's outdoor track team competed in the James

Madison Invitational May 13.

Afia Brown finished seventh in the 100 meter dash (12.26) and fourth in the

200 meter dash (24.30). Her finish in the 200 meter dash qualified her for a

spot in the ECAC's on May 19th at Princeton University. In the 100 meter high

hurdles, Teresa Covert jumped to a third place finish with a mark of 14.10.

This qualified her for a spot in the ECAC's.

In the 100 meter dash, Naomi Beverly finished 11th (12.56). Dionna Miller

placed 15th in the 400 meter dash (59.58). Temple's 4*100 meter relay team

finished second with a time of 48.73.

The men's team recorded two finishes. Tracey Champion placed 12th in the 110

meter high hurldes with a time of 15.18. In the 800 meter run, Daniel Stevens

finished 20th with a time of 1:52.78.
