PHILADELPHIA - Temple freshman Paris Williams (Aberdeen, MD / Aberdeen) has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Running in her first collegiate race, Williams won the 500m with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:14.67 at the Princeton New Year Invitational on Saturday. Williams also ran a leg of the winning 4x400 relay (3:55.09).

Temple returns to action on January 12 at the Penn State Relays.
