2008 Cheerleading Tryout Requirements

2008 - 2009 Cheerleading Tryout ~ Open House Clinic April 14-18 7pm-9pm @ McGonigle ~ Tryouts April 21-25 7pm-9pm @ McGonigle Final Tryout is Saturday April 26 TBD ~ All candidates must be present during the Actual Tryout Week ~ if you are not able to attend please submit a video.

Prior to tryouts, all candidates for Cheerleading Team need proof of having had a physical by their own doctor in the last three months. Candidates may go to Student Health Services on Temple's main campus or make an appointment at Temple Hospital for a physical. Click here for the hours of operation for Student Health Services.

If a candidate is under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must sign all pertinent forms. The following forms must be filled out and brought to tryouts.

Insurance Form 
TU Athletic Medicine Policies and Procedures 
Preparticipation Physical Exam Form 
Waiver Form 

All out of state candidates who can not attend try outs must submitted a DVD or CD or send via email (all attachments must be MAC and Windows compatible) of all of the above documents and the requirements ~ We will not Accept any VHS!

All videos must be post marked and in the Athletic Office by April 18, 2008. Please send your video to the following address:

Temple Cheerleaders participate during Football games, Men's and Women's Basketball games, and University and Community appearances.

Requirements
