PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's basketball team announced the addition of Saij through Team IMPACT on Tuesday afternoon.

Saij officially signed with the Owls in the women's basketball film room at McGonigle Hall. She will participate in various team activities, including games, practices and other events throughout the season.

Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit organization that matches children facing serious illnesses and disabilities with college athletic teams through a unique, multi-year program. Based on a clinical model, Team IMPACT fosters relationships between student-athletes and children that promote socialization, empowerment and resilience.

"Saij is a part of our Temple basketball family, and we're very proud to have her on our team," said head coach Diane Richardson. "Through Team IMPACT, we have the opportunity to build a relationship that goes far beyond basketball. We want Saij to know that she matters to us and that she has an entire team cheering her on. We are excited to share this journey with her and her family."
